Hotel Design

The word 'Pitrizza' means 'little stone' in the local dialect, which recalls the fine sand of the private beach of the hotel, while the logo potrays a little Sardinian lapwing, a bird that symbolizes prosperity and abundance in the island culture.

Designed in 1963 by the architect Luigi Vietti, who also drew up the plans for Porto Cervo Village, the resort was conceived to be perfectly blended with nature and camouflaged in it. Nature and architecture are forces that live in perfect harmony at Hotel Pitrizza: roofs are covered with authentic grass and here the first infinity pool in the history of hospitality was built, finding placement in a natural pit of solid Sardinian granite.

The clubhouse represents the heart of the hotel with its comfortable lounge areas, wellness and fitness centre, restaurants, piano bar and a spacious terrace where drinks can be tasted while enjoying the most beautiful sunsets.
