Bulletproof glass windows in the Suite allows guests to remain secure and worry-free during their stay.
The highlight of The Harrods Suite, the large Roof Terrace, features a beautiful raised swimming pool, an outdoor dining area, a sunbathing deck and a recreational area.
The glass walled infinity pool overlooks the bay and the gentle glow emitted from interior pool lighting creates a fairytale effect for guests wanting to enjoy a midnight swim and admire the night sky over the Mediterranean.
The built-in bar and dining area overlooking the best view from the Hotel, are completed with a service area for chefs to cater for unforgettable private cocktails and dining.
"Harrods Interior Design Studio introduces the Harrods Suite, a luxurious offering blending local craftsmanship and refined luxury. Embedded into the area’s cultural context, the suite features exceptional architecture detailing and bespoke interior furnishings with sweeping views of Cala di Volpe’s renowned coastline. The three-bedroom suite includes a vaulted wine cellar hosting a selection of desirable wines and spirits, a cigar humidor, an elegant marble cocktail bar and a private rooftop complete with an infinity pool & al fresco dining area. “This was a special opportunity to amalgamate two iconic brands, combining Cala Di Volpe’s rustic luxury with Harrods excellence. Our focus centred around creating experiences that can be had in the Suite, from enjoying a glass of wine fresh from the cellar in intimate nooks to hosting candlelit dinner parties on the private rooftop. Very special, but also offering all the comforts of a second home. In the design gently layered raw & refined materials come together to entice all the senses, creating a unique embodiment of luxury living.” Letitia Fitzgibbon, Head of Harrods Interior Design Each design feature reinterprets ideas of comfort and luxury; the soft curving edges of the walls combine with the atmospheric hidden lighting design, simultaneously luxurious materials, such as bronze textured glass and burnished finishes, create depth & warmth. Interior highlights include the marble herringbone flooring paired with hand-cut mosaic tiling for the en suites, a fluted limestone feature wall reminiscent of interior columns in Harrods and bespoke delicate glass artworks throughout. Within the bedrooms bronze patinated alcoves house beds bathed in ambient lighting & is paired with bespoke bed and bath linen, designed exclusively for the suite, to create serene and warm relaxation spaces. Details, such as wardrobe doors hand painted in swirling layers of ocean-inspired pigment flecked with 22ct gold fragments, add touches of luxury. In the en suites, natural marble compliments the decadence of multisensory showers equipped with chromotherapy. A highlight of the Harrods Suite is the private roof terrace featuring a raised infinity swimming pool, a sunbathing deck, fitness area and an al fresco dining pergola. Designed with entertaining in mind, the terrace also includes a kitchen service area in the form of an organic Marmo di Orosei stone bar, complete with backlit onyx champagne basin. Hotel chefs are on hand to provide truly memorable dining experiences. The varying blue & gold leaf mosaic pool, with an integrated bar, compliments the jewel-tone views of the bay it overlooks. Gently lit in the evenings, the terrace provides the perfect backdrop for midnight swims & cocktails under the Mediterranean night sky.
