TASTEofSARDINIA by Cala di Volpe is a project towards bringing abroad the know-how and experience in high-class cuisine and service we are recognized for at the Marriott Hotels in Area Costa Smeralda, Sardinia.
The project was initially conceived in order to satisfy the requests of our guests, happily won over by unique and rare flavors, and brought the hotel’s kitchen brigade from one end of the world to the other. Soon the word of mouth increased the demand to experience abroad made-by-Cala di Volpe exclusive fine dining cuisine with its longevity-related ingredients.
Our Executive Chef
The Executive Chef Maurizio Locatelli, winner of Marriott Award for Culinary Excellence 2016, together with Restaurant Manager Mario Lutzoni and their team each year throw themselves into a world-wide adventure visiting the leading luxury destinations. Since 2010 the Ambassadors of Cala di Volpe’s gourmet excellence have successfully delivered tailor made private events in Moscow, San Francisco, New York, Nice, Miami, Palm Beach, and collaborated on pop-up projects in London, Courchevel, Doha, Riyadh, Kiev, Baku and Almaty.
Our mission is to bring a veritable transfusion of Sardinian genuineness, culture and values into international cuisine.
